In our world of no absolutes and self indulgence,
mankind’s only hope is found in the person of
God’s Son,
the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Only through Him can we have an intimate relationship with God,
because He alone is the One
who paid the ultimate price for our sins.
Having a personal relationship with God is the only way
that we
as human beings can experience true fulfillment on this planet.
As we grow in our relationship with God we will want to
fulfill the responsibility of ministry that
Christ gave to every believer
when He said in Matthew 28:18-20: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”
What we are to teach is the Lord Jesus Christ!
Therefore, our desire at Open Door Bible Church is for ALL to hear
how they can enter into
a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ;
and then grow in that relationship through
the application of His Word in their life.
In essence, God is calling us to reproduce in others what
He has given us - the LIFE of Christ!
This is our purpose as a church family and is best expressed in
what we call our Vision Statement:
